Passionate with the Arts.
This famous Lisbon square, entering “Bairro Alto”, is known as Chiado, in honour to the 16th century poet António Ribeiro, who lived in Rua Garrett, the old street of Chiado. He was an excellent improviser that has since 1925 a bronze and lioz stone statue, laughing with
mockery, like a monk, sitting on a small bench, between the statues of Fernando Pessoa, Eça de Queiroz and Camões, the eternal great writers of Portuguese literature. Seen from above is an unexpectedly pattern to wear.
